Email notifications despite having disabled them?

Help Support Loneliness, Depression & Relationship Forum:
Check under Preferences, there are a lot more boxes.

I've unchecked all boxes regarding email notifications in my preferences but continue to receive email updates when someone posts in a thread that I have posted in.
What am I missing?
You might want to uncheck more boxes here as well: https://www.alonelylife.com/account/preferences
Will I still receive the notifications on this site, though? I only want the emails disabled.
