Well it certainly was more than hanging out, lol. Not what I'm sure some are thinking when I say that, but close. We made plans to hang out again Sunday after I get off work where me working early the next day won't be an issue this time.

I have no real idea what the "etiquette" is for this sort of thing and hope I don't mess it up.

Definitely not ugly. I dig the red hair and glasses look. And from the looks of some of those pictures you seem comfortable enough in your own skin regardless of what others think. Just keep being you and forget the naysayers.

Every once in a while I would pop back in but every time I did I noticed the same thing. Seems like less and less people each time and of the few people there, no one was really chatting.

Nope. Sometimes what makes me feel more lonely is seeing couples in public. Not those couples that look like they are just going through the motions, but the ones where it seems like they have a real connection.

...and I'm super nervous. I've never done anything like this before. The only other person I met from online was long distance and we had talked for like a year online and through texting before we met so it was much more comfortable when we did meet. I hope I'm not too shy and awkward.
