I didn't play my guitar for a while becuase I just didn't have it in me.
I've been working on this song off and on for the past couple of months.
It's not finish. I also wrote lyrics for it. However I found out today that one of my co-worker is a singer.
Hopefully in the future he can do some singing for me.

A song usually takes on a life of it's own. When I write music it just comes to me or I stay open.
However there's still some structure to the song. I try to keep it simple.
I also used the question and answer technique with phrasing.
This is why music can be healing for some people...music resolves.

Someone i love and care for every much encouraged me to start playing again.
She knows i love playing my guitar very much.

I'm not as good as I used to be...but i still kick ass though :p

Damn, that's really good. What do you use for the drums? A pre-programmed software beat of some sort?

That guitar is really awesome, man!

thanks Steve...

I forgot...I either had my drum machine on or I looped a drum sample.
One of these days I going to have to get Drumkit from Hell..it's a drumming software.
I'm not really a drummer..but I can play the drums. I can do 5-6 basic rocking patterns.
It's from listening to various drumming patterns, rolls and fills. It also helped me a musician.

yeah that's why it's not finished...I have a general idea for the brigde or break.
I need some kick ass drumming breaks...lol

anyway..I just strummed chord progressions and came up with a simple riff as a backing track.
On the second or B part of the song you'll hear 2 lead guitar parts...they're just arppegios of the
chord progression. It's simple but it harmonize and easy on the ears...Then i just rip some modes (scales):p

here's a song I wrote a while back using a music software....
it helped me learn how to mix music.
I actaully spent days getting drumming track the way I wanted..
hahahaaaa...the part the sounds like a syntheziser on the later part of the song is actaully my guitar.

Here a song that just came to me. I just woke up oneday and felt the need to put this song together. (the muse visited.lol)
I was in a very peaceful state. It took less than 1/2 hour to record it.
It's only has a 2 chord progression..but the chords are wicked. it sounds like there a 4 chord prgression (ghost notes)
The lead part also change keys or is in 3 different keys....If i thought too much about it when i was recording, it would had
been too damn complicate.lmao On top of that i had to do crazy sweeping and multy fingers tapping to get those letago sound on the solo:p
I think it's about being in the moment. Being presence. Kind of like being in the presence of god or god expression god's love through me.

yeah, sweet guitar work. i like the second one with the phaser(?).. love the phaser..

they all have a trippy/laid back flavour that's quite soothing.. i must admit i would like to hear the guitar a little more in the fore ground..

cool choice of images too

I like that first one best for some reason. :) It just has a really awesome vibe going on.
