thanks:)

Oh, I mean it's a reference to The Merchant of Venice I believe. :p A pound of flesh, and all that...he kills seven people, hence saving seven.

thanks, i've heard of The Merchant of Venice before but didn't know what it was about. i looked it up after you told me that and can see where they got some ideas from it.

now i feel dumb lol. it is obvious. i thought the 7 meant 7 people. i couldn't figure out pounds. i kept thinking in terms of European 'Pounds' & couldn't put the two together. then i thought it meant his heart. i was close:D

anyways thanks again, now i want to check out The Merchant of Venice:D

thanks

I had to read The Merchant of Venice in college. It was one of the better plays, and quite easy to understand.
There is a scene where this princess goes on for a few pages full of racism and insults...In fact, all of it is really racist againt Jews...and not ironically.

oh then i don't want to read it afterall. thanks for letting me know that.:)

i think it was Virginia Woolf who was also racist against Jewish people, even tho she was married to a Jewish man!!! go figure:rolleyes:

i have seen it but it is just a co-incidence that i also don't know that what is the meaning of seven pounds but i have heard from a friend that it's a reference to The Merchant of Venice.May be this would be right answer

A collage of scenes strong points for drilling, a good movie and dissatisfied with the emotional payoff. Excellent face heavy object that ends just a storm. Overall the movie is good to watch.

hey spammy, can you at least read what you copy and paste before you post it ? That made no sense.

Wow yeah, after a review like that, i will buy whatever you are selling.

I wonder what that was copied off of. I can't think of any context in which it might make sense. Must have mangled it in the process.
