Do any of you use Uber?

I never have. But it is interesting. I know it used to be a super good deal. I knew one person who got rid of their car, due to very high car insurance, and used Uber for everything.

Occasionally. It depends on where I need to go.
If I need to go downtown like to a 25+ minute car ride away, then yeah, I'll probably use an Uber instead of my bicycle.
I kind of dropped out of the whole car thing, they're too expensive, and I can't justify car payments + car insurance payments + repair costs + gas and fluids, when the car payment itself is nearly collectively the cost of a small house for a new car.

So I was like: **** it, I'll get a bicycle, some baskets, and a tow dolly.
It's better for my health anyway. I'm getting older, not younger.

In big cities, it's nice. Also if you have the car for it, doing Lyft as a side gig isn't bad.

But ya, I live in BFE, so no Uber for me.

Nope. But I use other service like Uber. If you don't need to drive every day it's cheaper than own a car.

Yes, I use it for work all the time. I don't drive, so that's my reliability outside of friends. Expensive, but gets me to & from.
