I've played. My most memorable character was a Drow thief (Ranger/Rogue) named Ilthoras, who wore a cloak of quills, wielded an Elven Edge and a gold dragon sword which, along with the Coin Ring, allowed him to have telekinetic control over gold coins. He eventually retired as captain of a flying ship and became a lesser god of thievery.

I also play the D20 version of Star Wars. It's like D&D, but everything is Star Wars. Plus there is vehicle and ship combat, which is a whole different element. In that, I play a Rodian Jedi Knight called Neldo (same species as Greedo) in a campaign that takes place in the Old Republic, 4,000 years before the movies.

Juhů, a reply!:)
Wow, that's so cool, it seems you were really into it:)

Dont play no more?

I found a Meetup group last year who attempted a D&D 4th Edition session. (I'm not a fan of the system's reliance on miniatures.) Unfortunately, our group didn't "click" and it was a one-off meeting.

I was never familiar with the D&D system because I never played it. When I got into role-playing, I played a several year long campaign using Columbia Games' "Harn" series. Unlike D&D, Harn has a more "Medieval Realm-Meets-Stargate" approach, and my DM favored their combat system over AD&D 2nd Ed system. (New at the time.) It was like taking D&D and morphing it into a whole new level of complexity and detail. (That was our DM's thing.)

Today, I think if I found the right people, I'm sure I'd still enjoy D&D or Pathfinder.

I'm not understanding your question. Do you mean "Am I doing anything to find the right people?" The answer to that question is, no. I have other things on my mind at the moment.

Yea, I try to really get in character when I play. I wish I could say those were my drawings, but they were drawn by my friend who is also a member of our roleplaying group and a great illustrator.

The D&D campaign was 10 years ago when I was in high school. But the Star Wars one is still going on. We've taken a break from it since my friends are all busy with either school or work and I've been trying to get a job myself. When things calm down though, we'll pick it up again.

How about you? What are your characters like? Do you still play, yourself?

Hey, I´ll totally reply soon, I just cant find a mood to do so right now:)
So please check back later!;)
