Why do things go wrong when we have good intentions?
Why do we meet certain people when we are destined to be separated?

Sometimes you meet people and you just get together because you have some intersts in common and you don't have better options, but you are different from them so problems arise...

People can have good intentions consciously but unconsciously they might hurt others.

I don't get the point when people say "It happened because you were meant to learn a lesson or something"
What about the pain, the damage? And the difficulty you face to move on? Does it really make you tougher or leave you all broken?

P.S: I am whining

The pain and damage toughens you up in case worse things come along. I took care of my fiance for a year and a half while she fought cancer - the last six months of her life I spent all my non-work hours playing nurse to her - if, prior to that, I had had an easy life without things going wrong and no pain in the past, I don't know how I would have handled it.

Whether it makes you tougher or leaves you broken really depends on you, but my grandfather used to have a saying: illigitimi non carborundum, which was (not quite) Latin for "Don't let the bastards grind you down".

There's no lesson. People just say that to extract meaning because they look for meaning in everything, when **** just happens. It's simple. All things end at some point.

Yes, do not ask why. Why you, or why did it happen or why at all.

Just, move on.

Good question. If you believe in it then it could be Fate. If you believe in it then it could be Luck. It's really down to each of us to say what it means to us personally. My views always change based on my mood and the situation. Sometimes I think I am just unlucky. Sometimes I think fate is telling me it's not meant to be. All I know for sure is that it is pretty soul crushing and yet, I remain defiant in the face of a grim reality. I guess I am meant to be a strong person or something.

I recently heard a lecturer address interpersonal attachment issues and she stated that our neural circuitry remains imprinted by those we interact with.........so in a way, we remain connected to others, whether we remain in physical contact or become separated by distance, cirumstance or time. Its a comforting thought, somehow...

Really!! i never felt contented. As a matter of fact i am no more the same person.

There's the quote meeting people for a reason, a season, or a lifetime- I guess that when some of these people come along its to fill something we've expressed we want or hope for. It's sad how when some of them have come and gone they've taken a piece of us that we can never get back.

I miss some of those pieces that were taken but look at the life lessons I learned in an appreciative way- sometimes it takes quite awhile to find the thing to appreciate though.

.
Because we need to a success from god , in addition to our intention and will.
