Hi, I'm here to find a place to hide away online and possibly talk, but maybe just read what others have to say occasionally. In real life I'm mostly a loner and observer. But I write a lot, not to talk to others but more to process my thoughts (which I tend to do better in a solitary way). Anyway, it's nice to find a community of people who are lonely too, to feel less alone in that aloneness. Though I do prefer solitude mostly, so it reminds me of "Introverts unite separately." Still there's a little bit of a feeling of community, even if I don't really talk to anyone, and that's something. Thanks for letting me join.

Just so you know, the diary section does not allow anyone else to post on your threads, so that might be a good place for you if you don't want comments to what you write. I don't know if you mind getting comments, but I just wanted to throw that out there just in case you'd want that option.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. This seems like a pretty lively, friendly community. I will appreciate having this place to visit from time to time, even if it's just mostly to observe.

The diary section kind of sounds like something I might like. I don't mind talking sometimes and getting comments, but other times it's nice to just talk without having to actually converse, and yet feel someone might care/listen (as opposed to just my own private journal, where I know no one but me will ever know or see about it). So thanks for mentioning that.
