How Many Here Serve/Served in the Military?

Good morning everyone. As the title implies, curious to how many are currently serving/served in the Military. What field, rank, etc.? Any Veterans in here? If you feel comfortable sharing your stories, I'd love to hear them. A big shout out and high respect to all of our Military men and women out there. I'm from the USA, and although we don't live in the land of the free that much anymore, all of our soldiers put their lives on the front line every day for us. We have so much to be grateful for. The sacrifice that only certain people can do for someone else is beyond what words can't even describe. Thank you all, for all that you do for us, and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend

I agree I served in the Light Infantry and was a Colour Sargent, so thanks to all those British troops that keep us safe.

You really need to get over yourself. If you didn't know we were talking about, you should have stayed out of it. I was talking about what he said as far as things that should not be displayed publicly. The military is entirely different. I guess I should have been a bit more clearer about which type of employment.

And what is it that I need to get over? Who made you Queen of this forum? One minute you say I don’t engage in enough threads and the next minute you’re saying I need to stay out of them. Displayed publicly? You do realise this is a public forum right? How is a military profession any different, especially when you’re asking for rank status? I post when I feel I have something worthwhile to say. I ignore tripe for the most part. And if anyone “needs backup” then you bet I’ll try to be there for them. I don’t need to post in every thread I find with anything that pops into my head. Puppet? Go ahead and name whose puppet I am. And if you think before you write, you won’t need to edit your responses a dozen times, so take that into consideration before you spew you vitriol in reply.
