I lost mine, somehow but lucky for me I found it again. It was hiding behind the sofa.
I too think it's kind of odd to write, in a book no less, about losing one's virginity. Weirder still though, to me, is why would anyone care? I'd rather read that some famous father was, in actuality, still a virgin and had been cuckolded by their equally famous wife. And if all their kids had different fathers, even more interesting. But no matter who they are, famous or not, reading about someone else's life, especially some young royal's, sounds about as much fun as watching paint dry, while getting a root canal done.
Sometimes though, when watching youngsters in porn flicks, I can't help wondering if it's their first time or if they got pregnant from the scene. With as much porn as there is, I'm sure that either or both are possible and multiple times as well.
