How to get a girlfriend while having no friends

im new&17, probably young compared to others here xD

I've had a "few" relationships in the past, but they ended very quickly by the other person, and those I wouldn't count as "actual" relationships. I don't really have any friends, and nobody ever asks me to go somewhere with them,etc. I socialize with girls , and am nice&never a jerk but I can never get a girlfriend. I've changed my appearance different times even after that multiple girls still claim im ugly so doing that to help is out of the question. Considering I been trying to find someone for over 3 years now I am starting to believe I wont find someone

any idea?


ps. being lonely via friendship&dating is depressing <_<

you could try finding a girl that you will become friends with first and then if you like each other it , may turn into a relationship so naturally you wont even notice it. I am not saying it works often and for everyone, but i had a nice relationship that lasted 2 years that started this way so maybe it will work for you too.

I agree about your age; you're still very young. Don't rush your life right now--you'll regret it when you're older. Go with the flow for now. If you do meet another girl you like, start off slow, be friends at first and don't force anything.

I wouldn't worry about it too much at your age. I had never even kissed a girl until 17, for a lot of guys it takes them even longer. Try to focus on building your confidence up and also building an interesting lifestyle that would be attractive to girls. Find some hobbies you really enjoy, read a lot of books, give meditation a try, try to find ways to better yourself and challenge yourself. If you do all this, chances are you will make some friends along the way.

Don't worry about your appearance, looks in guys are overrated. Looks might help some guys to get girls but they only take you so far. Girls care much more about your personality than your looks which is why there are plenty of average looking guys with really attractive women.

Also learn to let go of your self image. If you are attached to your self image, it will be extremely difficult to make friends and get a girlfriend. I learnt this the hard way and I'm only just starting to get past it.

Address the issue with lack of friendships first. Any relationship will demand at least a basic understanding of the expectations of what it is to be a friend to someone if it is to even to begin. If you develop a circle of a few friends and acquaintances you can begin to learn what makes them tick, especially female friends but just in general. With a circle of friends around you, your chances of meeting someone will increase no end, its not impossible to meet someone off your own back but even so, you really should be looking to develop friendships in life as well as looking for a girlfriend, a girl shouldn't replace the need for other human relationships. Imagine the burden on the poor girl if she was all you ever had.

So my advice is dont try running before you can walk, look at ways to develop friends and if you are still in education or employment you have a ready made pool of potential friends, find a bit out about them (and yourself) and take it from there, it should help you work the rest out for yourself.
