I think the issue isn't necessarily about cross-dressing specifically -it's that the person you are with had a completely different life.
Of course it depends on the individuals involved, but if I was in a long term relationship and had let someone in on my most intimate secrets, and then all of a sudden found out that the person I thought I knew so well had a whole other side I knew nothing about...I don't know how I'd feel. I don't think I'd take it well tbh
