Yeah, EVs have quick charge capabilities. But, that means 2.5 hours instead of 8 to 10. Nobody really talkes about that. IMO, batteries need to be completely different then they are now in order for EV cars to be used like gas/diesel powered vehicles. That's why at this point in time, hybrid vehicles are the way to go. That's what should be pushed. They'll never leave you stranded either unless something major happens.
Propane Station - Propane vehicles are also a good alternative. But, they just don't seem to be catching on. The Con is that it can be very dangerous when filling them up. So, you don't want everybody to be doing that.
