L4D2-The Passing

I guess if you're half as much as an L4D fan as me, there's spoilers and junk in here if you haven't played/seen the new campaign that came out on the 22nd.
So in essentially my 'divorce', my ex got all the fancy xbox acessories. Most important being the wireless adapter thing for live, so I was unaware that anything new was out until just yesterday while at my ex's.

Basically the survivors from the original game meet up with the survivors from the 2nd. Sounds awesome enough. I hated the survivers in L4D2, absolutely no chemistry, weak ass dialog, and they were nowhere near as badass. The first survivors were so loveable. You could play as any of them the whole campaign and not feel like a loser. The 2nd set were jokes, no ******* memorable banter between the characters, no hatred towards so many landmarks, no being freaked out by a deer crossing sign while dozens of zombies are around, the absecene of dark humour when two people die before you get to the elevator and stating they 'need tougher friends'. Just lame stories about a dude named Keith. ANYWAY I was super stoked, playin this at my ex's house..Right before I raged out harder than I have raged at any plot device ever.

Why...WHY. If you notice in that video, he is truely gone. I know this because when he would die in the first L4D, his cigarette was always still in his mouth. He was a trooper like that, and aside from Francis he was always my favorite. Poor grandpa Bill. Atleast him and his beard didn't turn, so Francis wasn't forced to shoot it off. Goodnight, sweet grandpa-Bill-prince. I... HATE... VALVE. haha.

The Passing was definitely enjoyable, I really liked the heavy machinegun (the golfclub was a bit "meh" though). The awesome thing about it though: it's free! At least it is on the PC. Yay for free DLC's!

And I agree about the survivors, they were much more interesting in the original game. Francis is easily my favourite character in the L4D games so far. Have you heard the song somebody put together using all the "I hate..." things he says? I think it's pretty damn funny.
