In a way i wish the riots would spread up here.

If anyone has been watching the footage of the riots there has been one video that haunts me and unfortunately proves what I have been saying about people getting nastier.

The video is of an injured boy dazed on a bridge. The people pretend to help him but instead proceed to rob him.

I see they arrested the chav that robbed the injured and dazed man. Now that's funny. Hopefully he's in jail now, playing "drop the soap".

Ha you made a rape joke, isn't rape so funny lol.

Just a bunch of scumbags out to steal. There's no social/political commentary that can apply, no rich-poor gap, no disillusioned underclass - just look at the identities of some of these losers (and the mainly small business owners they robbed). Socialism isn't coming to the rescue, this is a symptom of the dark side of it, ie. society owes me, everybody owes me, I'm entitled.

mob mentality doesn't happen in a vacuum.

it happens in an environment full of decent people,

or it happens in an environment full of ****** people.

yes, mob mentality is not a new concept.

look when the storms went through the midwest in the usa,

and people all rushed together (like a pack) to HELP and SELFLESSLY save their friends and neighbors,

now witness the people all rushing together (like a pack) to ROB and KILL and DESTROY.

what is different?

some people are principled.

others are not.

things are escalating.

an environment of shamlessness has recently been added to the already existing environment of amorality.

and there you have it, folks...a deadly cocktail.

oh wait, let's not forget to spritz it with a small dash of: lack of responsibility, fostered by the nanny state "let's LOVE our criminals" culture of rehabilitation over justice/punishment.

amorality + shamelessness + total lack of accountability for one's actions?

what good could possibly come from that equation?

oh wait, you need a "sense of entitlement" chaser!

I don't think that sort of thing goes on anymore. If it did I would get arrested myself, would be my best chance of getting laid....
