Guess.
I mean I guess this girl is my deffo inspiration:

0CBF9D1B-A0A2-40A9-AC70-4EE5D740BD46.jpeg

So i’ve been planning to get more work done for a while, I have a very strict idea of what beauty is and anything outside it just doesn't fit the bill…

I am going to permanently change my eye colour, i have never been more terrified in my whole life… but I just cant live like this any longer with brown eyes and feel less than my sister forever and ever. Along with that I am going to get a nose job and finally a buttock enhancement and hip augmentation.

After this corrective surgery, I would have changed almost everything about myself that I cant stand apart from the one thing I cant change…

Anyway i’m scared but ready for this journey, ready to start my new life in the US, I think I might even change my name to Lexie Grey or something… or Lexie Rose

No offense, but that rather sounds like a pornstar name.
Listen, kid. I gotta ask. Why are you so intent on changing everything there is about you on the outside? That doesn't seem, to me like...you know, a really good thing. Great philosophers once said in a song "too much of something is bad enough". Seems to me you're really leaning heavily on the surgeries. I worry about you.

A porn star! I guess I’ll go with honeysuckle i joke i i joke 😂 I thought it was a cute name lol hmmm Tammie Grey? Ugh I genuinely feel like i’m just not hot enough, i’ve had loads of work but cant get any proper surgery in the UK because I have body dysmorphia so they just arent allowed to touch you.

I wanna be beautiful I feel like shouldnt we all strive to be beauty personified?

You know...there's a certain point where it does become a problem though, right? What you do now might very well be permanent and, say 40 years from now, may very well be something you're not happy with.
If you have bdd... wouldn't it be wiser to hold off surgeries? Is that your sole motivation for wanting to leave the UK?
I also don't think we should at all costs, no. Beauty isn't skin deep. It might sound cliché, doesn't make it any less true, you know.

You know, you’re not wrong, but I have a question, what would you prefer a fast short life, where you look how you want have everything you want or a slow long life where you feel ugly every single day and cant even love properly because you dont feel like you deserve it, and despite wanting nothing more… not even sure about having your own kids because you might curse them with your crappy genes

How about a nice, long life where I learn to love what I look like and discover to embrace it over time, end up with a great dude who, when both our genes mix, create children that I'll dot all over because they're wonderful...or is that not an option, somehow?

I just dont see it happening for a girl like me, kinda men I like... I am convinced I only like them for their genes and they dont even like me lool like well maybe 1% of them but the majority do not like girls with my heritage at all, so it's like... I just wanna forget about men, and kids and focus on what I can control.

Princess, surgery isn't going to solve your problems, if anything it's going to add to them. Take a tip from uncle Random and start from the inside.
This is what everyone keeps saying, but it genuinely feels like my only way out of this hell, you know? :(

Lexie Grey is a character in a very popular show here in the states. So unless you want to be forever associated with that, I would maybe not go with that.

Aside from that, I agree with Uncle Random. You need to find the root of your problem and fix it. Until you do, nothing will make you happy. 10 years down the road you might regret all this plastic surgery.

Omg no way? At least its not the raunchiest name of all time lmao I thought it was cute, maybe Tammie Grey or something... To be honest I haven't regretted any work so far, I've been watching like videos of girls who went to the doctor I wanna go to, they said the only bad thing is he has his own vision of beauty too and sometimes works on areas that wasn't agreed before hand. So that made me a little nervous.

If that is your photo in your profile pic , i think you are beautiful without any surgeries ...

why would you want to fit in a profile like this song lyrics ?

the name change also sounds funny like , dorian grey ...

The story revolves around a portrait of Dorian Gray painted by Basil Hallward, a friend of Dorian's and an artist infatuated with Dorian's beauty. Through Basil, Dorian meets Lord Henry Wotton and is soon enthralled by the aristocrat's hedonistic worldview: that beauty and sensual fulfillment are the only things worth pursuing in life. Newly understanding that his beauty will fade, Dorian expresses the desire to sell his soul, to ensure that the picture, rather than he, will age and fade. The wish is granted, and Dorian pursues a libertine life of varied amoral experiences while staying young and beautiful; all the while, his portrait ages and visually records every one of Dorian's sins.[3]

Wilde's only novel, it was subject to much controversy and criticism in its time but has come to be recognized as a classic of gothic literature.

Yep, this is her. The show is called Grey's Anatomy. They killed her off several seasons ago, but she's still mentioned in the show.

But no, I don't expect that you will have regrets yet, but you might later. America is a completely different culture, you might feel differently if you live here for a while. I would maybe find a good therapist once you get here and make 100% sure this is what you want before you go doing all the things you mentioned.

Yeah I was gonna get work done in spain before coming to the states but I might put myself on an April date so I still have time to think 😇

Have you ever considered what might happen if those surgeries don’t go as planned? Changing the colour of your eyes is a very serious, risky procedure - would you want to risk permanent damage or blindness?

Same with nose jobs and hip augmentation and everything else you’ve got planned. I think it was Supermodel Linda Evangalista who underwent a botched cosmetic prodecure and was left “brutally disfigured” (her words) and she became a recluse for a long time. These surgeries and procedures are not without risks and you could find yourself far worse off in terms of self-esteem than you are now.

Uncle Random is right - start with the inside.

Yeah getting botched is a huge fear like some woman got a facelift at 35 and is now disabled.

What are you going to do when you get rejected for the first after you've completely recovered from your augmentation? Because it will happen at some point. That inspirational image does nothing for me. She looks like she has some stuck up attitude. I wish you luck, but do remember, it's the you that's inside, not the outside.

It sounds cliche but I am 100% not doing this for any man, I have never met a single man that wanted me to do this, like any guy thats even remotely interested in me begs me not to. Never once have I had a guy even say "I'll support you". It's always nooo dont blah blah. I can handle rejection like an adult, but it's not something I've had much experience with as I have only made a first move once.

Awh makes me sad when guys do that, just assume theres a type of look that says hey she's stuck up... lol trust me I know girls who look the complete opposite to her, do not take care of their health or looks at all and are very entitled and stuck up, my aunt is one of them lol.

thanks so much for the luck, I will need it :)

I didn't mean that you're doing it for any man, I'm just saying that when you get it done and you're feeling all satisfied with your looks, that a guy might still totally reject you for some reason and that you might wonder why or begin to doubt yourself. Personally, I worry for people's health, as many of us do, so supporting such surgery (except for corrective surgery) isn't an option for me, especially when I see so many pitfalls afterwards. I really do hope it brings out the best in you and gives you no setbacks.

I don't assume there's a type of look that makes people stuck up and I know people can be stuck up with any look. I'm basing my opinion on years of experience of dealing with people like her. And that image is processed a fair bit as well, and probably a selfie, which pathetically adds to the "look how good looking I am" pose, or a terribly oblivious photographer, given her hair isn't even brushed out.

Ah no, I think rejection effects most men and women very differently, I don't internalise rejection like a lot of men do, in my mind he's simply not attracted to women. I think men should try it, saves a lot of stress lol.

Oh yeah deffo processed, it's hard to find a picture on the internet today that hasn't been through the trenches of filters but I think it's harsh, if she was uglier the connotation is she is nicer, thats a global thing, even me, literally the same person, when I was uglier people assumed I was nicer lol after all the changes people assume I am well... mean and stuff, always makes me sad, also in media, the look I like is always portrayed as the bully, when in truth, I've been bullied by all sorts.

To me, I dont think it's fair when a guy is randomly deemed a creep because he looks like a bunch of creeps I knew in the past, but I also dont think the opposite is fair when because you have a certain look that maybe a lot of stuck up girls have, all of a sudden you are stuck up. Trying to break the stereotypes! :)
