I'm going to remove this, because I don't really know you, blackdot. Maybe you would make a good father right now.

I need to stop generalizing. I've been told about this time and time again.

He has a good job, his own place, a car, etc. He WANTS a family and can obviously support one. He's not had much luck with women (basing that on his own opinion, not mine) but he DOES seem more than capable of filling the role of a dad IMO.

My house is a mess and I have no motivation to clean up.
Anyone want to clean it for me? :)

lol, stuff a sock in it, BD. Go get busy cleaning up your mess and when you're done, make me a sandwich. :p

blackdot is passing out sandwiches? I'll be right over.

socks are supposed to be cleaned?
dang! why didn't anyone tell me?

Didn't you question the smell??

I guess that's what happens when I never have a woman around. I have no one to tell me to clean my socks.
*laughs*

Don't ya hate when you finally get to the point in life where it's just too exhausting to fight things?

Don't you hate when everyone at work just doesn't understand that it's stupid to try to equate what happens in their lives to what happens in lonely people's lives.

I'm seeing that there is a major issue in my life.

If you have ever played video games, you will know that while most games have a actual ending, some games do not. For example, RPG games have multiple quests you can complete and a main quest but even completing those does not finish the game. You can just keep on playing. There is no ending. For me those games are fun to play until I finish the quests. Unlike most people, I can't continue to play after I have finished all the "goals".

Well life for me is the same way. That's why up until my 20's, things were simple. There was always a goal. In school, it was to get to the next grade. After college it was to get a car, get a job, get a house...etc. After that though things got more blurry. The only goals after that was to get a date, get married, have kids, and later retire. Well I've hit the point in my life where I'm realizing the only goal I have left that I'll probably accomplish is retire. I could do that now. But if I retire, then there is nothing left to do but just end the game cause there will be nothing left to do.
It's crappy getting to that point in my life.

man, tonight is just rough. unfortunately I am off work tomorrow.

I decided I needed to cry painfully before going to bed tonight.
