I have two older brothers. I won't vote in the poll, because none of the options really apply to me.

I'm glad that I'm not a single child. At least I have someone to play multiplayer games with, lol.

I am an only child and now that my parents have died, I have noone. I would have loved to have had at least one sibling, to have someone to belong to.

I had an older brother, 3 years older than me (I'm a girl) and my brother and I were completely different right from the start. He teased me and picked on me non stop, of course, which is normal, but normally it alternates with companionship. For some reason he had a problem with talking to me normally, as an equal, and instead of growing out of it it kept up well into our twenties. Even if I never said anything he would feel the urge to slip in a "you're stupid", "you're ugly" etc. I don't know why he has such deep seated animosity towards me as he's a lot smarter than I am, I'm no threat to him particularly. He treats me a bit better now, but we'll never be close, I don't speak to him unless other people are there. If he was to call and ask me to have a drink or something, I'd be receptive, but he'd have to treat me differently from the way he always has to sustain an adult relationship.
