President Zelensky Meeting with Trump and JC

I agree that each country should not be meddling into the affairs of another. This is how wars begin. Everybody wants to dictate someone or something else. Everyone should be minding their own business and taking care of their own affairs inside their own countries. I'm a Republican more so than anything, but will vote Independently as well. Like @Unsigned said, it's really what benefits me at the time. I voted for Trump twice, because he did a lot for our country, but not a fan of him meddling into others affairs.

I liked Trump as you know but since he came to power and I agree he has a big mandate and won the popular vote, as soon as he got in started with slapping tariffs and everyone, wanted Canada to be the 51st state, waned to take Greenland of Denmark, doesn't he realise you need European trade for your business to function, Europe buys more from America than it sells think about all those lost jobs if you get into a trade war.

Yes, I was telling you before that I definitely did not agree with Canada being part of the United states. Imagine how both of us feel and what kind of war that would create. The other thing is, Trump is a smart man, and I don't think he's going to do anything that's going to ultimately backfire on him and his own country, which is America. But, time will tell.

When I saw this thread I read it as "President Zelensky Meeting with Trump and JC", as in Jesus Christ.

Which makes sense, since so many people apparently believe Trump and JC are the same person.

As a "right winger" who only speaks for himself, I do not hate Ukraine.
I hate that Zelensky provoked this war and that the Biden/Harris admin enabled him.
I think it is disgusting that these two countries are killing each other.
They are very similar people. Like cousins fighting. It is terrible and was very avoidable.
Zelensky HAS to negotiate and he HAS to give up some land to end the war.
And he will. Hopefully sooner than later. And if he takes too lang, the Ukrainians should choose another president who will.

Here's an analogy to give some understanding about Russia's position.
What do you think the US would do if Mexico was going to enter into a military pact with China, and the Mexican president kept pushing for it and refused to back down?


Also, and in this rare circumstance I will speak for others, we NEVER hated Russia. We hated the USSR and communism. Russia stopped being communist a long time ago.

zelensky does NOT have any obligation to do anything NOT in the interest of Ukraine, period. to say otherwise is to excuse bald conquest/rape by a bully nation. no country had the right to invade another country, period. I know what side I am on and it is not on the side of tyrants.

No, really I changed my mind.
It was an impulse post just after I watched some news.

But no, I've been doing this for a long time.
Last night I was regretting all the time I spent unhappy during the Bush and Obama years.
I mean sure, it wasn't great. But it was better than today.
Also, several of my family members were still alive.
I was younger. I should have been doing something else than talking about this stuff.
I should have let myself be happier, while I had the chance.

My opinion still is what it is, but there's no need to repeat myself yet again, and waste more time doing so.
That's what got me so much regret in the first place.

For those that are condemning Trump, did you watch the entire meeting that was over 2 hours long or just the last two minutes that the media is displaying everywhere?
I don't really care what the answer is, I'm just curious on what you are going off of to form your opinions about this.
