A random inquiry, and I apologize if it causes any offense.

I understand that women somehow pick up chemical signals from each other, so that periods occur at roughly the same time, according to some studies of female roommates. For lesbian couples living together, does the same happen, and if so, does that ever cause problems from the presumed psychological ramnifications of that?

No, I don't think it would cause problems because assumedly they could both tell each other "I can't have sex right now, i'm on my period" at the same time. :D

I have no idea, I'm also not really sure how true that thing about periods is,

I know I'll just call up my old roommates and ask them about their mensies :D

( ya I'm totally not doing that)

I don't know about the lesbian thing, but I do know the period thing is correct. If more than one woman is living together, they will sync up.

Never done the lesbian thing...sadness...but I've lived with female family members and it didn't sync up completely but came very close. I just thought it was coincidence...:/

Come over here and we'll fix that for you, Luna. ;]

Ahem. Yeah, they do tend to have their cycles move closer and closer together. Of course it happens with lesbians too. No problems are caused.
