At what time of day do you feel more lonely? And why?

I personally feel more lonely at night, cause I'm not doing anything and I can imagine being out with friends at this time. But no! Stuck at home doing nothing.

I want to see where we all stand on this. XD

Sometimes I would be going about my usual business and loneliness will just creep up and hit me from out of nowhere, at any time of day.

But it's usually at night when thoughts are racing through my head about life, that I often stumble upon the realisation that I am alone, and ponder about it much to my detriment... :\

This.

I have to say I was close to picking Afternoon though. That's when all the young couples tend to be flaunting how awesome they are in front of me :(

In the end my hearing problem swung it to night. There's something particularly crappy about lying in a bedroom alone, unable to sleep because of this stupid imaginary ringing noise and so in the end just thinking about all the things that aren't optimal in life until you get so tired you drift off anyway :\

at night because i know that when i eventually get myself to lay down for bed i know that i will be laying in an empty bed. and in the morning sometimes too. i wake up and just lay in bed for up to 2 hours just thinking about stuff like that.

Errr....when she on the fucken Rag?
sometimes its on bloody sunday..
Sunday...bloody sunday.....

which is why I have to attend church
to pray for the both of us?

That's when.

I have to agree... Part of the reason why I tend to stay up so late is because I'm more comfortable sleeping during the day. I love the night time, but I'm afraid of what could be lurking in the dark. So, I rather sleep safely in the warmth and light of day, hoping that no one is crazy enough to try to break in my apartment then...

Though, I could sleep at night if I had a big strong man to keep me safe. (goo)

At night too. The silence rubs it in your face that you are indeed alone. At least now I have baby spiders to keep me company. (no)

All day long, but mostly in the morning and afternoon. After all, these are the biggest part of the day. Noontime is too rushed to spend any time with anyone anyway, and I usually need a break from anything I'm doing -- including feeling lonely hahaha. And at night, the day is over, finally -- I feel too tired to think or feel too hard about anything. The one time I feel it though is when I go to bed alone, obviously.

Most of the time. I have such few classes in school, I have so much spare time to just sit around and feel lonely. The mornings I spend alone, when I haven't got school or anything, makes me the most miserable I think. At night, I can at least think about a new day coming, new chances, and so on. In the morning, it's like the time you should feel happy, if ever. So if you don't, it feels kind of hopeless. That's my experience.

Alone at bed in the night (although the noisy neighbours are always there, no matter how lonely or late at night it is, but that hardly counts as proper company, now does it?) and when seeing couples in the spring and summer. :(

Sometimes late at night when I'm online, I sit and imagine how many others in the world are sitting in front of their computers at the same time as me wondering the same thing that I am.

Yep, it's late now. My entire family is asleep (the only people I talk to) and so I'm alone.

I usually strike up conversations with myself regarding what to do the next day. I'll talk to myself, and I'll respond back to myself. Weird I know. :p

Actually, most people talk to themselves.

It's quite normal and a great way to resolve your mind's disputes. A lot of people think best aurally, so it helps them to speak their thoughts aloud and respond to themselves as if having a conversation with someone.

There's nothing wrong with it. :)
