A few days ago Jilted John came into my mind whilst I was on here.

I've been talking to Naleena and we thought it would be a nice idea to put together a piece on what we thought of him as a member here. Just a short story on what he meant to us and what he did to help us.

We can then send this on to his family, showing our appreciation for his time here and that he won't be forgotten. He was a decent, old welsh bugger!

I know it's always pleasing to hear from others what a loved one meant to them.

If anyone is interested then please add your part!

Thanks,

Poguesy.

Thank you Poguesy for posting this :) It will be a year in. October since John passed. I know those anniversaries can be hard for families. I think John would be pleased that we honoured him and told some of our stories in rememberance of him. It would be good for his children and grandchildren to see how Johns light shines on. I encourage everyone to please think about it. It can be a very simple few lines, a poem, whatever. You can PM Poguesy if you have any questions. We thank you in advance. John was one of us. He is not forgotten.

I remember his sense of humor. I know I cared about him and his well-being. I'm not sure if he knew it, but I did. I wanted him to be happy and healthy. I wanted the best for John.

I didn't know John as well as many of you did because of my limited time in the chat. Whenever I was in there he was always cordial and respectful to me. People like him are rare these days. I only wish that I was in the chat more so that I could have gotten to know the man better before his passing. I'm sorry to know he is isn't physically here any longer. I do however, have no doubt that his spirit still remains.

He enjoyed my rants, they made him laugh and he looked forward to my next one. He was really nice guy and had a good sense of humor.
