My girlfriend asked to meet my parents today after meeting them she has been ignoring me and after asking her what was wrong she told me she wants to break up with me. I'm heartbroken.

How do you and your parents get on together? Is it possible one of them said something which could have put her off? The reason I am asking is that my mum always put me down so I am wondering if your folks are the same?

I'm curious as to why she would push for that if you were just flirting with her a few days ago. The "meet the parents" stage comes a big later than that, I would think.
