He's such a coward for not speaking up to me till now though !! But hopefully it's getting closer.

Heh he might not be a coward for that...he COULD be, but like I said earlier, guys sometimes need BIG clues, not subtle ones. I think Aedammair gave some goods tips on it...letting them see you look at them, small talk, etc.
