Two weeks of cold is not enough for this Canadian gal.

Where are you? We've had lots of snow this winter in the Kootenays - spring-like conditions now - all the snow has pretty much melted, but it was a much better winter here than last year. I loved it! :)

I am in Southern Saskatchewan. We are suffering this year. Well, I am. And the rest of the population that says they are ok with it, if this is what global warming is doing, can bite me :D

Haha. Agreed! Snow is awesome! I prefer the winter, I hate summers. :( I thought I'd have more snow this winter as well, but despite getting a blizzard that dropped more than 14 inches of snow this season, it all melted very quickly in a few days time. I only got to use my 12 foot long scarf for a week this year!!! :p

We had rain today. I much prefer rain to snow.
If we could have a temperate rainy season all year where it rained, say, alternating every afternoon, morning, and night, that would just be great.

This winter my area had a whopping total of one foot of snow. All of it fell between the first and second week of February.
It has long since completely melted way.

We usually have 3-nearly 4 feet of snow for an entire winter season. And it is usually still on the ground during early April.

we had +30s C in May last year. I am not looking forward to this year. It's been almost +20 the last few days.

Ah, I love being a summer baby who hates summer.

We didn't have much snow this year either. I don't really like snow much now that I can't get snow days anymore and it doesn't really do much except make life harder. But it is pretty to look at, especially when it falls under the streetlights at dusk. And I wanted enough snow to build snowmen for my dog to knock down. We didn't get enough for that this year and he always looks like he has such fun.

Right now I worry that we might get a late cold snap. Our temps have been in the upper 70's this week (higher than normal) which means the trees are waking up.
Last year we had a hard freeze at the end of March. One day after my edible cherry tree went into bloom. 0 cherries last year.

Next time if it starts snowing like crazy again, I will send all that snow to you. You're welcome. :p
