Do we care?

i didnt notice anything about the USA in the topic title or the OP.. but the hatred really seems to pour out when this subject comes out.
this was about the ALLIED war effort and every region in the world is being effect by it.
I am Canadian. I think US gun laws and violence is foolish and they cause there own troubles. the very reason some places are so bad that it's unsafe is due to the anti-gun control attitudes.
BUT, this has absolutely nothing what so ever to do with what's going on in the middle east =/
many times I have been accused of being a follower of george bush (where is he now anyways? still pulling the strings?)
people assume i'm some kind of american patriot because I dont believe everything fanatic radicals spew out and don't believe that there is some rediculous grand conspiracy to control the world by a bunch of short-term elected politicians that can't even keep their sex lives a secret.
