What does it mean to be alive?

After seeing my partner slowly die last year.
I ask myself a lot of questions.
Is this life all there is? Where am I headed?
Should I be concerned how I will be remembered?
Should I seek meaning?
Should I work hard?
Should I get involved in a religious community?
How will I cope with a verdict of cancer?
Who will look after me?
Should I be worried?
Is my life valuable?
What kind of people should I hang round with?

Sometimes we can be so depressed we don't have room for other people's depression.

Just some thoughts:

Life is as simple or complicated as you make it.

To me life means being able to feel. Happy, sad, grateful, confused, joy and so many more emotions.

Making the most of what you have and being grateful.

I wish I could say I'm not afraid of dying but I am. I hope I reach the point peace when the time comes.
