When he realizes that the world he lives in is nothing but a lie.

Obtained possessions or status like a house or job does NOT necessarily make a man. Those things can be obtained easier for some than for others, and others still if they have or are born into the right life can have these things given to them.

A boy becomes a man when he feels he is able to take responsibility on himself. When he feels he can take the world on by himself. Most importantly, a boy becomes a man when he feels he is ready.

Not before, and not after.

We can try and throw all these social constructs on what defines what a"man" or a "woman" is. We can try and say it's defined by how old you are, how many relationships you're in, how many times you've had sex, how quickly you can mature through puberty.

At the end of the day, every person is different. And it's wrong to pigeonhole people into this or that.
People grow up when they want to. Boys become men when they feel they are ready. Same thing with women.
I've met 26/27 year olds who act like they're 15/16. Good for them.
I've met 14 year olds who act like they're 30. Good for them.

Everyone ages and matures differently, but that's okay. Everyone has different opinions and that's fine... But it's every individual person who decides when THEY are ready to become a man/woman. Not society.
