Imagine this, the world is ending 24 hours from now. There is all sorts of science involved, but you are still the only one who knows this.

What do you do? Remember that **** like morals don't have to matter anymore, everyone is dead in 24 hours anyway.

How would you final day look like?

I think morals would still very much matter regardless of there being any repurcussions, thats the whole point of morals.. they are your own personal set of rules independent of any others you HAVE to live by. The legal system wouldn't matter for those 24 hours I suppose but what is illegal and what is immoral are two different issues.

I think in a 'world about to end' scenario you'd see a true reflection of peoples morality, whether it really exists or if its just an illusion created by the confines of social expectation and legality.

Anyway..

I think I would probably gather my loved ones around me and try to make sure they were ok, it would be important to me and ensure I had something to focus on.

Sorry thats a bit dull but probably the truth. :)

Yeah, i used the wrong words. I guess i meant crime and/or social conduct. Not really sure what the right word is.

I would play Minecraft and act as if it's just another day. I'd also probably be very excited. I've always wanted to know what Heaven is like.

That probably sounded completely immoral and illogical, but knowing myself this would be the most likely scenario.
Anyway, who wants to spend their last moments in panic? Especially if the end is inevitable... if there was any possibility of salvation I'd certainly act very differently.

I'd probably do the same things.. but speak to everyone I love and care for and give them my love and well wishes. If I have a partner then, I'd want to be by his side till the end.

I'd walk down the stairs, grab a few beers, walk back upstairs, and continue what I was doing.
Maybe shrug a few times while the sky falls down.

I'd say goodbye to the people i cared about before enjoying watching the world burn.

I'd make some calls and get on an airplane out of this city. I want to be with friends in an isolated forest, roasting marshmallows beside our cabin. Preferably in mountain country.

Edit: Anyone form the forum would be more then welcome to join me. We could roast marshmallows off the burning fires.

Lol I didn't see this. Come join us in our cabin!

Yeah it would depend really, cause what if telling the right group of people that the world is going to end could help prevent it? Like if Bruce Willis and his team of oil riggers were launching up onto a rocket to drill into an asteroid and plant a nuke.

24 hours is a lot of time to save a lot of people!

Hmm, I'd probably go out there and try to socialize and party it up. I wouldn't care what people thought about me.
