Of course. Being wet for me is not a problem. A minor inconvenience at best. For him/her it could be life or death.

I actually do feed a cat who hisses at me and goes for me when I place his food down on the porch. He's gotten to trust me a little more over the years though because before that, he would just run away. It's funny, because in between hissing at me and trying to scratch me, he's licking his chops cuz he knows the food is coming : )

Eat ass or glass? Well, I'll assume abbynormal is right about ass meaning donkey in this case. Because otherwise it's impossible to answer the question. I'd eat donkey over glass : )
