Anyone else here from florida?

I lived there for 4 years and I wish I was still there because I've relocated to the Midwest and its a piece of ****. I'm up here for grad school. What part of central FL do you live in? I was in Daytona and New Smyrna Beach area.

Orlando is better than Daytona!

I can understand that. I've been to Orlando numerous times. Are you working in Orlando? My brother graduated from UCF last year.

As to Orlando being "better" than Daytona, there are certainty more resources and sites to see but I loved being the near the ocean and I don't care for a night life so I was okay with where I was. The issue I had with Daytona was that there weren't many jobs for college educated folks, so I knew I wasn't going to remain there forever.

I'm up here in the midwest dealing with all these tornadoes, crap weather and **** quality of life. Wish I was back in Florida, I took a lot for granted when I was there.

I'm in Orlando. I don't get out much, though. From a social standpoint I may as well be living in any other suburb-like city.
