Okay, all I had to do was just read the TITLE of that article and then I closed it because I really can't handle reading anymore. I want to vomit.
I hate cyber bullying on the internet. I've dealt with internet and real life bullying a whole lot as well and your exact situation is why I took my pictures off of everywhere on the internet and will ONLY show them privately to people online who I talk to through PMs and things.
I don't know what happened exactly to you, but I did have some people re-post my image on another site and make some comments that made me extremely uncomfortable as well. Luckily they hotlinked the images so I was able to delete them all very easily.

But why is it horrible? If person wants to die, he has every right for it.
But why do some people want others to see their suicide? Is it an act of attention craving? As I understood, he considered suicide long before the chatroom, thats why he switched on camera in the first place. People who want to die and want others to see their death do not deserve respect in my book, but that is personal. If you want to die, go in a quiet corner and die, no need for exess drama. I guess he did not really want to die, maybe it was an act of revenge, who knows.
I guess maybe he wanted people to either talk hiim out of it. But more likely version is that he wanted witnesses, something from him to be left behind, some memories and guilt, suicide can be thought of as revenge sometimes.
Your viewpoint is a very common one that, I, personally, do not share. Since you addressed me directly, then I guess I better respond to your question of "why do you think it's so horrible?"
First of all, I guess I didn't explain myself clearly because I don't think people are horrible for trying to kill themselves. I didn't say that they didn't have the "right" to try if they want to. I understand where they are coming from and why they do it.
I was disturbed by the people who got entertainment out of it. I've felt that hopeless before and I definitely don't feel entertained by the idea that there are many people out there contemplating suicide seriously at this moment. I couldn't watch someone give into it and never know hope or happiness again.
I also don't understand what is wrong with "craving attention"? I mean, isn't that what loneliness is and why we're all supposed to be here? Because we're lonely and "crave attention"?
I also don't think that if you're in a place so desperate that you're willing to kill yourself over it (humans have a natural instinct to live and it takes a whole lot of emotional trauma to drive someone to the point of wanting to kill themselves) that you're "causing drama" by trying to reach out to people. In fact, I would prefer it if all people trying to commit suicide reached out to someone so that maybe we could stop them and help them have hope again. It's the right thing for them to do and it's the right thing for us to do to try to help them. Not to mock them and egg them on. We're reinforcing it if we do that when maybe they wouldn't have otherwise been able to go through with it.
There's always this myth out there that people who seek out other people and say they want to kill themselves aren't really going to go through with it because otherwise they wouldn't tell anyone, but this is proof that this fact isn't true and that we need to listen to people like this.
And it's very sad if someone tries to get revenge by killing themselves. After all, the person they really got revenge on is themselves. They are the ones that are dead, not the people they are trying to "punish" and they actually aren't going to benefit from anything that happens anyway. Although I'm not so sure that people kill themselves JUST as an act of revenge at all.
It just bothers me a whole lot that people would get entertainment out of this because it's not funny or entertaining to watch people's lives and hopes end at all.
