I’m proud to be a virgin. I’m not ashamed to be a virgin. I will become the king of all virgins.

Ehh.

It's one thing to not be ashamed of it, to not let it bother you.

But I wouldn't say it's something to be proud of, or something to be the king of.

By definition, it's not being the king.

This isn't something I would advertise, or brag about.
I don't think it's healthy or good for your self-esteem to make it a part of your identity.

Where's the positives in not being able to form a romantic connection with another human being, something 99% of functional adults manage?

I understand not letting it define you...but pride?

Edit: OP is a woman, i.e. it's a choice.

Also as man being a virgin I don’t have to pay child support and alimony. I also don’t have to worry about STDs as male virgin.

You can add to that, no baggage from broken relationships and a mostly clear conscience.

It's all cope though. It's like telling ourselves we never wanted to go to all those parties we weren't invited to. This isn't a choice.
