I sit on the fence, even see the reasoning behind those that have jobs that others couldn't do. We look down on debt collectors. But you know what, they also have a family to feed. I should be scared of them everyone is scared of them. But we seek debt help agencies when bailiffs are at our doors. So even bailiffs have enemies, the debt help agencies. If there was no debt, debt collectors would have no job so we can't really blame them, they are just doing their job. I'm thinking about this alot lately. Could I do their job? No.ehat chucking people out on. The streets that have nowhere to go? Wow, it takes a strong person to do that job. I wonder how they feel, what training they receive to switch off that 'care' button. I think that's what I need the training a bailiff receives on a personal level. Because everything was taken from me.on a personal level not only financially.

What is the worst job? Is it to be a bailiff ?

Are there any jobs that are available to you that you can do at home? (Don't say no, I know there are) You said you write, have you considered doing that for a living? If nothing else, greeting cards have to get their messages from somewhere

I do write but it is substandard. It makes people mock me so they can get their kicks out of watching an illiterate write. I simply do it now as a form of self help. It never goes anywhere but it's better than staring at the wall.

Who says it's substandard? The people that spread rumors about you or someone who actually might know what the hell they are talking about?

It's the expression in people's faces. "What the hell is this?" Look on their face. I read news articles, the writing itself is excellent, way above par. But they actual stories themselves are unbelievable, it's written well. In Britain it seems they are focused on what next face/body looks good Inna bikini, I don't want to write about that, the physical aspect. I like to wrote about the what's, the why's and the how we can change to society into not objectifying who has the best body all the time! That's all we see in newspapers, women with perfect bodies! Now I am under no illusion that is what sells. But it also creates problems for women such myself that cannot look like that for a man. It was pointed out to me about my saggy belly from having 4 children. The loose skin prevents me from wearing the clothes that look good on a woman for her to catch a man's eye in the first place. If a man doesn't like what he sees he isn't even going to open that book is he?

That's the stiff I like to wrote about.

I would like to say, you write well. Better than me at the moment.

You've misjudged most of us here on this forum, so how do you know you haven't done the same thing in terms of your writing? With a negative mindset, it is very difficult to not see negativity, even when there is none to see.

Honestly though, I'd say articles are not as well written as they used to be. They are generalized, false and/or lack originality.

Thank you, I have always been good at English, grammar and the like and pride myself on being able to type well. My English teacher was my favorite teacher in high school and I took her lessons to heart and worked hard to be able to write well. Now, put a math problem in front of me and you will think I'm stupid. Computer coding, scientific stuff....also stupid. lol

I'd also like to point out that you wrote "write well" whereas most people would say "write good" So you must be better than you think you are. Seriously, you have to stop being so hard on yourself.

I think in today's world computing, coding anything that involved 'tech' holds the key to most people's lives now. If you are good at using 'tech' people are interested, they want to know more about you. That's maybe where I am going wrong. Hypothetically if in a group setting of individuals talk about how much they know, and what they can do with technology it perks up those little ears, you can see 'ah, now you have me interested' I have noticed that when I have told people that I like poetry, writing etc it's a look of 'ok, moving along now' they listen for a bit but tire quickly. What can be done with a bunch of words compared to a bunch of internet coding? You can do more with coding. I guess It.woikd be something I would like to learn about but I know through still some sense of my own awareness I would not have the patience. A computers mind does not have emotion when you go wrong lol.

Okay, what about joining a book club? That's all they talk about is literature...aside from some gossip thrown in here and there. Go to poetry readings. Whether you read your own or not isn't the point. THOSE are the types of people you should be putting yourself around, but that's what you enjoy.

Ah! You've just said it, in reality there are not many people that enjoy book clubs. I mean, I am close to fifty, so people look at me like I have reached the knitting needles stage, I do still have some physical energy about me though. I still like to exercise, I don't have a gym buddy. I hate hate hate doing activities that should be shared alone. Being alone is great for a lot of things. But all the time? I disagree. It leads to a build up of things that are already going wrong in your life to grow deeper in your head, like a root that cannot be pulled out.

Oh well atleast I can write on here now, you guys can't see what I look like like. Atleast no one on here asks for a selfie.

I have to disagree.
The thing that interests me most, is where successful storywriters and songwriters get their inspiration, and how to get ideas like that.

The tech thing, it's not really "me". I'm just forced to, because of the way this world is.

(Did you mean in casual conversation?
Or a job interview?
If we're talking interviews, then yes, I agree, tech seems to be king.)

Yes, like most things in life a computer selects the best options, programmed to find the best possible individual for the task. On a basic level, as I don't play call of duty or other online games. The computer is programmed to win. It will always win against the Human mind. What is very scary is the people that designed the programme. They are the true winners, they know how the robot works! That should be everyone's fear ! 🤐

But that's exactly why computers can be beaten though - they don't think, they just follow the rules rigidly.

Humans can think outside the box.

As a famous smuggler once said...

Yes but the average human feels pain/hurt. Computers don't, that's where they have the advantage. They feel no pain, once a human has mastered the art of not feeling emotional.pain, they have won the fight of life.
