But you're okay with no full stops? LOL
I'm okay with it because there was no second sentence after it; in that case, the emoji signified the end of the thought and sentence. (y)(y)(y) Also, Kudos for you for knowing how and when to use an apostrophe 😏

As someone who makes their living as an editor, I can assure you that a proper sentence does not end with an emoji. 😜 (Note the lovely little period I ended that thought and sentence with, THEN an emoji.)

Just to verify: This thread is about sharing our pet peeves, or picking other people's posts apart? 🤔

I was only poking fun! Sorry if you took it the wrong way. Although in my defense, proper use of grammar is one of my pet peeves. 😂🤣 Anyway, no offense meant. 😊

You can't make someone be your friend.
You misunderstood @TheRealCallie's post. "because no one uses it correctly anymore" even though it's a generalisation, it's refering to people using the word when they shouldn't and not for ACTUAL things that can't be; ie, "I can't get pregnant" since I'm a man, but "I can't eat fish", which obviously you can, even though there might be bad results. Instead, people should use "I shouldn't" or "I find it difficult" etc etc.
