My gripe at the moment: Mobile phones and all this texting. I've only had a phone for 2 years. First year I never used it, only had my brother on there. I think a £5 top up lasted all year !

Now got about 6 people on there. Thing is it's always me who initates messages. I would say it's 99% to 1 % in favour of me sending first. I think my reply rate is probably 50%. My brother takes about 3 days usually. This other woman sometimes never replied, sometimes it took a day or so. My new woman (lol) answers alot better, straight away and in length. But I'm never too sure (a) how often you text and (b) what the hell you put.

It's a bit like facebook messages. Hey I'm lonely, I sometimes send somebody a message. How are you ? How are things ? - They reply (most of the time) - it's always people I know, not random people. And I think the ratio is again 99 to 1 - me sending first.

A part of me thinks if I didn't bother then I wouldn't hear from them again. These people I supposedly know.

Oh well !
