The independence of thought and memory is something we cannot afford to lose.

A vintage goosebump...a modern reality.

I'm impressed by how you guys can actually go ahead and pick one particular song/soundtrack! I've been thinking about it, but I could never settle for one.
Most likely it would be something by Leonard Cohen though; if that helps :p

Probably: A thousand kisses deep.

Nope. lol

On further thinking, probably "If it be your will". A song that is sheer beauty :) Bittersweet and with a spiritual element. Sounds like my life :D

Sounds like you enjoy committing your life to various elements that may not be necessarily right. But you know that, and you still go on.

Admirable.

P.S:

My respect for Cohen's lyrical skills is immense.

Time to post mine, the first ice has been broken.

@Caveman

You took the concept of yourself and the all-around world, and put it into these lyrics.

I enjoy how your song includes a global view of the situations surrounding us, rather than a close-personal one.

It depicts your distance from society nowadays, and the way it works. All ending in the fact that there is no point doing all this.

Nice to meet you, Caveman.

Do you care to interpret how this opus depicts you? :)

I care to interpret I..., I care a lot. But I...can't, it's...* long sigh*.

All I can say is that it is a trauma, that is not only stuck in the past, but keeps on evolving into my own demise.

A trauma that has shaped who I am and keeps on shaping me without pity or remorse.

A trauma that justifies every musical note in this soundtrack, exactly as it is.

I cannot share it.

At this time I am typing, I am feeling nauseous even when I think about it, a crushing grip is in my chest.

I..., I'm sorry...I can't.

I am sorry.
