As many of you know, I've been overweight for most of my life, and I have zero, absolutely zero experience with sports. I have never even exercised, only recently!

And as some know as well, I'm going to start halfway through my High School Sophomore (2nd year) this January, and I would really like to get into sports.

The problem is, I feel nervous about talking to people about sports since I have ******* zero experience. I don't know, when I go and try out and say "Hey, I've never had experience, can I join the team?" It feels awkward.

Yeah but aside from working out, I don't know how else to train, I guess the Internet could help. The problem is that it would be much easier to go to the school and say "I've never played sports, I want to play now". But I don't want to sound weird in front of everybody.

Well, it depends on the kind of sport you'd like to play. You have any idea what you might like?

Go to the YMCA and play some Basketball. The "Gym Rats"
will start the conversation. Especially if the teams are an uneven. You have to walk before you can run. I was the same as you were when I was in high school. Sometimes you just have to summon the courage and approach the ones playing and ask to play.

Basketball and baseball would probably be the easiest. You can play basketball pretty much anywhere, go shoots some hoops. Baseball, find a batting cage and knock some balls outta the park.
