This is me doing a vlog entry:

I don't really know why I'm posting this other than I feel like some people don't know what I look like.

That's awesome. i can understand some.

That's probably an awesome video of you sophia, I just wish I could understand what you are saying as well :(.

I didn't know that you speak through sign language. I was taught a few words of it in elementary school, but I can't say that I remember any of it.

Learn another language in this lifetime, hmmmm. Sounds like something I would love to do.

Will you explain to us Sophie what you were saying? :D

Can you say any words, or not at all?

sign language looks heaps cool.. i'd love to turn it into a music video.. with a negative filter, or whatever that effect is that makes everything look like its sizzling with electricity (like in the Beastie Boys video of Whatcha Want..).. and maybe in slo mo so the hands leave 'echos'..

yeah.. cool

hand ballet :D

I already knew what you look like, but that was interesting to watch all the same.

Like most others, I have no understanding of what you were saying.

That was really cool

glad to finally see you, you looked really graceful in your use of ASL

Now I went on the ASL website to start learning it

lets see, father, mother, boy, girl, I'll get it, give me a while though lol

I think this motivating people to learn sign language here. There was a girl at my college that communicated through sign language, but she used to go too fast. At least... I learned a few things... :)

It's been a goal of mine to learn sign language for the past two years, lol. I guess I just never have moved it off the back burner.

It'd be beneficial. In my line of work you never know when you're going to encounter someone who can't speak...and for all intents and purposes it does count as bilingual with most departments which is a plus.

Thanks everyone. Sorry I dont know how to caption stuff :/

Oh and Brian it probably WOULD help you in your job to be able to talk to deaf people because some of them have ASL as a first language, so they dont communicate in English very well. Besides, if you were deaf and in pain would you want to write something down to the EMT? It'd be easier for them to sign stuff imo.

And yeah, it'd just look good on a resume. :)
