No, you don't even have 20% because while it is horrible, the things you mentioned are not uncommon with both procedures. That's why they make you sign the consent forms, so you can't come back and sue if those uncommon things happen to you.
That's why we have warning labels on literally everything now....so people can't sue for things that used to be common damn sense.

Legally, yes, but a lot of kids don't wait until that age. I started drinking at age 13. Quit drinking before I was legal to drink. It's only illegal if you get caught. lol

You also can't buy tobacco products (or marijuana for the states where it's legal for recreational use) until you are 21. You can enlist and go to war at 18, but you can't buy alcohol or cigarettes. But again, it's only illegal if you get caught.

Though, I'm not sure using the example of driving at 16 and drinking is a good one. Too many people drink and drive as it is, let's not add more people doing it. (not that teens don't drink and drive, of course.)

There are long stretches where I have none at all, but there were lots of times in my 20s where I would drink every day.

No, you wouldn't. You would have had to sign a consent form to do the procedure, where those things are mentioned. So you wouldn't have won a lawsuit and you wouldn't have gotten a settlement.
People read things online like that and assume everyone who had a bad surgery in America gets paid for it....That's just simply not true. Only about 20% of malpractice cases win against doctors/hospitals.

Also, unless it's a mass lawsuit... millions is unlikely since they put unofficial "caps" on punitive damages.

And I have since I was younger than 12.
I wanted to stay as I was. I wasn't in any hurry to grow up into this nasty world.
It was so cold and mean, I didn't know why anyone would really want to.

At its core, *everything* in your reality only means whatever *you* say it means. Nothing that shows up carries inherent truth or meaning. Everything is by definition neutral.
