What do Your Music Playlists Look Like?

What do your music playlists look like? What would I find in your playlists? I'll give you some examples of mine. Years ago, my genres used to be Rap & R&B with a little bit of heavy metal. Now, I've branched out to all different types of music and have several playlists of all different kinds of artists.

Country Rap/Hick Hop
Heavy Metal, Alternative, & Grunge
Rock
Electronic & Techno
Pop
Country & Pop Country
New World & Indie

Mine is pretty similar, plus some random fiddle music and such. I enjoy a "that's quite the transition" response when my shuffle is put to work.

• 80’s New Wave and synth bands like The Cure, Depeche Mode, Talk Talk, Yaz, Pet Shop Boys, Kate Bush, Siouxsie Sioux, Thomas Dolby
• Classic rock like Queen, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Supertramp, Fleetwood Mac
• Electronic bands like Underworld, Future Sound of London, Tangerine Dream, The Orb, Crystal Method.
• Alt bands like Placebo, Smashing Pumpkins.
• Old-school country - Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn
• Random artists that catch my attention - not necessarily new artists, just ones I’d missed or never heard of. Some of latest ones: Agnes Obel, London Grammar, Protonica.
• A little bit of classical, medieval, ethnic music. Some heavy metal like Black Sabbath, Ozzy, etc.

Cool. That wasn’t a comprehensive list by any means. I’m pretty open-minded when it comes to music, I like what I like. Basically, if it touches me on an emotional level in some way, I will like it.
