I picked the right time to go snow shoveling tonight, because it was just then that I saw a Bernese mountain dog and his friend (a mutt) walking and playing together in the snow. They looked happy, like the weather wasn't bothering them all but instead perking them up ☺️
I've had to shovel my entire life, and once I moved, I was ecstatic that I no longer had to. I love the look of snow, but could never fully enjoy it. I always had to work or travel in it, and shovel it. Now, I can actually kick back, relax, and watch it snow in my cozy apartment. So far though, I've had to work and travel in it. I've yet to be able to sit home and enjoy it.

I've been wanting to clean out and organize things a bit more since I moved to my new place. I put my mind to it this week and got it all accomplished. I'm going to do it again, but downsizing to live much simpler little by little. This makes me happy! :D

Some people do the craziest things online to complete strangers.

There's this Youtube channel that I watch/listen to, and he's based in Britain. While working on his latest video, he came across an 80-page document in German that needed translating, and he posted in his community tab asking for German volunteers. So I ended up getting involved in his research, along with two other German speakers, and now my name is credited in the description to his video! 💜
It's absolutely nothing, and I realize that, but for someone like me who is a literal no one, those 15 seconds of fame are something worthy to screenshot and keep for years. 💜

I went to the hardware store with my Mom the other day to look for chicken wire to protect our tulips that are coming up early this year. If we don't defend them, the squirrels and rabbits will eat them, it's happened a few years ago and we don't want a repeat incident.

Anyway while I was there we walked through the lawn ornament area.
There were lots of cute real-life and fantasy animal characters.
But at nearly the end of the shelves, we found one that stopped us in our tracks -
3/8 scale "Life-Size Puppy".
They had German Shepherd, a Yellow Lab, and last but not least, a Golden Retriever.
They were all in the sitting pose, and really cute - a very good likeness of the real thing 🐶
