I've gotten better at getting up at 7 most weekdays, with the help of my alarm clock, coffee, and breakfast and I make myself be in bed no later than 12 midnight on weekdays. I allow myself the option to sleep until 9:30 on Saturday and Sunday, and to stay up until 1:30, before I have to mark it a "fail".
Sometimes if I sleep well, I naturally wake up before the alarm, and even with energy instead of feeling groggy.
It's a hell of a lot better than I used to do, I was TERRIBLE about sleeping in and staying up late before. Much like the running, I should have done it a lot sooner.
But I'm finding that I'm still not getting everything done in a day, that I need to. I might have to move it to 6 AM and see how that works.
