My best subjects? Hmm. I don't even really remember much, consciously.
I know I was able to impress both teachers and students in my English classes. I think that's about it.
After the first year of highschool, I didn't really do homework, unless I had to, to keep from failing. Otherwise, I just didn't give much attention to anything and just got by, by passing the important tests quizes. heh.
I believe a highschool history class I was able to impress a bit in as well. I just did what I had to do, to get by.
I read voraciously on the internet though. Me and my friend used to go on 'wiki binges.' heh. Where we'd hop on wikipedia and just read for hours on end. Fun times

School didn't teach the interesting stuff, mostly; but, it gave me enough basics to continue learning what I wanted to. I wasn't good at wrote memorization, so brute academic strength was not something I possessed; or perhaps just didn't apply myself in that direction after a certain point.
Math, physics, chemistry, etc.. is probably where I suffered the most, because they rely on a lot of memorization, discipline, etc.. Everything there builds upon previous stuff, and lends itself to particular aptitudes.
