I lived close enough to the high school to make a trip home and back in the half an hour. I didn't much fancy school cafeterias at the point.

Back in my old school, I would be eating at the back of the school building.. where some kids would be minding their own business.. sometimes some of them would take a smoke so I'd go to the library. In my present high school, I sit out in the open on a bench while the jocks and cool kids sit indoors.

There was no lunchroom here. I used to spend my breaks smoking, with my classmates, and not only with them.

Lunch room?
I and my friends ate lunch wherever we wanted.
I think there must have been a lunch room,
but we ate in the quad or the arches or the grass.

I never ate in the cafeteria in high school, I feared that place. I ate outside or the balcony when it was open to do so.

Is important to remember in high school prank. very few friendships and relationships last after high school. popular among the people end up losers, and losers in high school at the end to cool. social hierarchy is completely different from the real world, it makes no sense. whatever you do, study hard and get good grades,

sometimes in the caf with friends, sometimes outside, or in the halls/stairwells.

i went to a catholic hs, and when i did my victory lap, i would just hang out in the chapel. it was so comfy in there, quiet and peaceful. but once the chaplain caught me eating my lunch there and snapped on me, and there went my private lunch room :p

in the caf, all the "too cool for seats" kids sat on or leaned against the stage. losers!

Uhh, for my second last year of highschool i'd sit in the library all lunch,

And for the last year of highschool i'd go home at lunch, I lived 5 mins walk away.
I had a study block before lunch, so it would make the walk home worth while.

I had people I could have been with, but most days I felt sick and wanted to be alone.

I sat in the classroom, sometimes totally alone. never the cafeteria. sometimes i went to the library so i could use the computers in the lunch break (while eating). I'm glad that is behind.
