Why do people excessively show their PDA for one another?

It's great they can be in a relationship. But to continuously boast about it. ?

You know when I was ina relationship and happy the last thing on my mind was telling everyone about it. Also. When it is an ex, and they know you haven't got a partner and not moved on, why do they have to make huge points about their new lover(s). They know you know, they already know you are hurting. So what I am asking is, why do they want you to know what they are doing with their new partner everyday? When they no longer desire you? Do you think it is a joint endeavour where the two of them just think it's funny to keep on dripping away little hints at when they last hung out when they are next having a hotel shack upm I do not understand this behaviour why don't they just enjoy each other in their own time!
