I meet people all the time, I don't have much trouble with that, it's just that none of them ever like me as more than a friend. If you knew some things I've been through you might understand why I might think about this, but I'm not considering it anymore after thinking about it.

Maybe you're not aware that they like you as more than a friend. At my last high school, after I moved, I got in touch with someone from there and they told me that there were like eleven or so girls that wanted to date me. This came as quite a suprise, as I always thought myself way too inferior to day anyone. Sometimes you just need to ask.
