to all those who would like to be musicians, why is that? Because of the music, the spotlight, the kind of lifestyle... just curious

for me, I am a musician not by choice. (amateur) I play because I can.
any instrument I have attempted to play seemed to come fairly easy for me, so despite all the drama with other musicians, or any other negative sides of it, I will never stop playing. it's a part of me.
but..
the business of music and all that comes with it, turns me off and I have no desire to work towards fame.
I would love to play music for a living, and the money that can come with it. but really want nothing to do with the music industry itself.

I'm a singer-songwriter-musician and also 3rd generation of a musicians and composers family, tho i'm not professional, so my dreamjob "was" doing it as my professional career, performing wether a concert, musical or a coreography, even acting.

When i was a child i went to an artistic academy for several years and every summer i did a musical on a local theather, performing for audiences of 500 or a bit more. I learnt to play piano and guitar by myself when i was 6, during high school i chanced once to sing with my city's philarmonic orchestra, i used to be a soprano back in my teen years and i wanted so badly to get into our national conservatory of music til my mother stopped me. Nowadays i'm just any loser, i buried all those beautiful dreams and i live my loner reality one day at a time.
