Hey Kinze, I think we all feel crap like this at some point :\

New Year seems to be one of those regular milestones that heightens feelings, whether positive or negative, at the time it occurs. It stokes up expectations for the future and the present dictates the mood of those.

I wouldn't look so far ahead, I find that always makes things worse - if things are going badly it makes it feel like it's going on forever, if they're going well it feels like the time's running out. From my experience, anyway.

I don't want to come across presumptuous since I don't know your exact issue, but if you ever fancy a chat feel free to drop me a PM. Hope you feel better soon

Thanks everyone I just kind of spat that out last night because I've been feeling very rough with whatever it is I got wrong with my stomach and sweating buckets periodically (like now in fact). I'm also plagued with really ****** up and beyond surreal nightmares a lot (like last night/this morning in fact) and it's not exactly doing my overall mood which is low anyways much good.

I appreciate the support as usual and again, hope everyone has a happier new year for 2012 x

Apart from giving my well wishes like most/all people on this thread, I would like to say that it will be like the New Year never happened, come Tuesday (it's a bank holiday in the UK on Monday and that just makes everything draaaag, if you know what I mean?).

Yes, it may suck if you have to go back to a job you don't enjoy come Tuesday, but in my opinion, getting back to the daily grind/routine is better than sitting at home, trying to generate the optimism that is expected of us in the New Year.

2011 really was a bad year for me, but I don't have much hope that 2012 will be much better. So yeah, lots of hoopin' & hollerin' on nye for what? I'm not sure, but there were many people doing just that when I walked into the casino a little before midnight last night. People kept shaking my hand with a smile, saying "Happy new years!". I just smiled back, responding, "Yeah, happy new years". Just going through the motions, just another year...

I had a really bad 2011. I lost family members, I had to move back home, I lost animals, I had a nervous breakdown...to name a few things.

2012 has to be better than the last few years! Every year since 2007 has been sucky so far!
