This is the first time...in a long time, that I don't feel ugly...(:

The past three days or so have been pretty good.

While I still haven't quite gotten *there* just yet, I feel a lot better today than I have for years.

My abs are starting to look pretty good too; I've taken another shot at trying to tone some more as I've been taking it easy for the past month.

I'm going to see if I can find my old school pictures from when I was 20-30 lbs heavier and compare it to now. I think I may have destroyed them, but it would be good for me if I could find one, just to see the progress that I've made so far with my weight.

When it hits July, it will have been 4 years of me staying at a healthy weight and taking care of myself.

^-^

I didn't post this as a success story, as I feel that I'm not quite there yet.
I'm not too sure if I'm still on that emotional roller-coaster or this is genuine improvement.
But today, I feel better.

YAYYY!!!! :D AWESOME, LUNA!!!

;) You're hot anyway, but if you feel better about yourself... then AWESOME!!! *HUG*

@ Spare: You can do it! But you totally don't want to be like me since I'm a bit half-assed about it...:p
@ suckaG: Haha...thanks. ^-^

Haha! I actually did it once already, but then I fell off the wagon. Then I was run over by the next wagon in the train. Then I was trampled by the herd of cattle. Then the vultures came.... :p

In other words, I lost a bunch of weight, then piled it all back on. Now I have to do all that work once again. But I will. And this time, it will STAY off, by golly!

Haha, you're so funny. xD

You know what helped keep me on track?
Joining a weight loss forum.
When I needed inspiration, I would look at photos of members that have lost hundreds of pounds!
It's not a temporary fix either - it is a complete lifestyle change.

Not excessively eating junk food, candy, drinking pop etc.; it'll just become natural to you over time.
The worst part was the first three weeks - I basically had to scream out loud to myself.
But check your PMs in a bit. :)

good to hear luna :)

the importance of physical appearance isn't what it is all its cracked up to be. if there is room for improvement though, go for it
